During hyper-space navigation, Imperial Galactic Navy Officer Alan Corinth's spaceship is unexpectedly attacked and shot down. By a stroke of luck, Alan is the sole survivor despite the severe damage sustained by the vessel, causing it to lose its navigation capabilities and crash onto a nearby planet. Alan deploys an escape pod to the planet alone and begins his quest for survival. To his surprise, he discovers a thriving human civilization on the underdeveloped planet whose genetic code closely mirrors his own. Despite being thrown into a world of swords and magic and feeling disoriented, Alan attempts to assimilate himself with his new comrades and make the most of his situation by using the symbiotic nanomachines [Nanom] within his body.
