The fresh middle school days of two young boys who weren't yet friends: a distant summer's faint memory. Yuudai is an ordinary 14-year-old boy attending middle school with his friends. One day, a shocking secret is revealed about one of his classmates, Harada, which propels him to the center of the rumor mill and the cruel gossip that follows him around.
