Kaoru Inose, a renowned composer, possesses an exceptional gift - the capability to detect the "sadness" of animals through sound. His life takes an interesting turn when he hears a captivating sound that piques his curiosity. Led by the sound's origin, he stumbles upon Masumi Sugawara - a lawyer who produces this unique sound. Fascinated and eager to explore its roots, Kaoru yearns to hear more, unknowingly getting drawn towards Masumi. But when he discovers that Masumi's sibling is the cause of this touching melody, his emotions take an unforeseen turn.
