Synopsis
Residing in Tokyo, Japan, are two iconic figures of holiness - Buddha, revered as the Enlightened One, and Jesus, acknowledged as the Son of God. Having successfully concluded the previous century, the two divine beings are currently residing in a cozy apartment in Tachikawa, relaxing after their tireless efforts. Buddha, embodying the frugality of a common housewife, is mindful of his expenses. On the other hand, Jesus's impulsive nature leads him to impetuous purchases. Delve into the carefree days of this saintly duo as they spend their time in Tachikawa. Notably, the short story was awarded the Tezuka Osamu Award in 2009 and was also nominated for the 2nd Manga Taisho Award in the same year.
