Synopsis
Our protagonist is Hojo Takatoki, a forgotten figure from feudal Japan during the Kamakura and Muromachi periods. Following the overthrow of the Kamakura shogunate by Ashikaga Takauji, Takatoki is stripped of his family and social status. Faced with a merciless fate, he escapes to the remote regions of the country, where he must fight to stay alive and pursue retribution against those who wronged him.
