The self-conscious Shizuku Hoshikawa is on her way to dispose of her one and only novel. However, her plans are disrupted when the charming Kaori Asaka stumbles upon her and takes an interest in the book. Shizuku is devastated as the story is personal and gloomy, and she did not intend for anyone to lay eyes on it. Despite her apprehension, Shizuku is elated when Kaori confesses that the novel profoundly affected her. Kaori's interest ignites a passion for writing in Shizuku, who is at a loss for what to write about. In a peculiar turn of events, Kaori suggests they write a love story together. Shizuku is hesitant to accept Kaori's offer, fearing that there may be ulterior motives behind her genial smile. Nonetheless, they embark on an atypical summer adventure in pursuit of writing their very own love story.
