But her assigned roommate, a native Tokyo resident who despises urban life, keeps her at a distance, leading Iruka to mistake her unfriendly demeanor for sophisticated aloofness. Undeterred, Iruka is determined to connect with her reserved roommate and find like-minded friends. To achieve her goals, Iruka dreams of upgrading her old rural bike to a sleeker Tokyo road bike, but the high city prices make it impossible. That is until Iruka unexpectedly stumbles upon the "Bike Angels" club during her quest, who help her transform her old bike.
