Delete your Abyss Reader account

You can delete your Abyss Reader account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. Deleting your account permanently removes the account and the data associated with it from our servers.

From the app

1. Open the More tab.
2. Tap Delete account (at the bottom of the account section).
3. Enter your password to confirm. If you signed in with Google, leave the field empty.
4. Tap Delete my account.

The deletion is immediate. You are signed out on this device, and any other device signed in with the same account stops syncing.

What is deleted

• Your account (email address, display name, avatar, sign-in credentials).
• Your synced library: favorites, planning-to-read, hidden titles, reading progress and chapter marks.
• Your ratings, comments, reports and collections, including other people's comments posted on your collections.
• Your reading statistics.

What is kept

• Replies that other people wrote under your comments stay, without the link to your comment.
• Records of VIP payments are kept for accounting, with the link to your account removed.
• Titles and chapters you downloaded stay on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data; they were never stored on our servers.

Without the app

If you can no longer open the app, write to the address on our privacy policy page from the email address of your account and ask for the account to be deleted. We confirm by replying to that address.
